OVERVIEW
Vision² MPEG-2/Digital TV Live provides a packaged solution for the Live elements of a Vision² solution. The hardware solution can be configured to look at any of the AMX Television Distribution System transmitters or deliver MPEG-2 live channels using AMX MAX-CSE Encoders.
COMMON APPLICATION
Businesses that want to broadcast over-the-air video or digital TV signals via a Corporate LAN to displays. It can also deliver live video or TV signals to PCs on the LAN.
FEATURES
◆ Segments High-Bandwidth Transport Streams - Delivers each channel as a separate multicast stream which can allow Digital TV to run on a Dedicated LAN while selecting specific channels to broadcast over a Corporate LAN reducing the bandwidth impact to the Corporate LAN
◆ Supports Several Video Streams - One Vision² MPEG-2/Digital TV Live device can support three DVB-T or DVB-S transmitters or six QAM transmitters providing support for up to six transport streams reducing the amount of hardware needed to supply multiple channels
◆ Enables Delivery of Live TV to a PC - Vision² MPEG-2/Digital TV Live can be used without any additional Vision² hardware to deliver a Television Distribution System signal to PCs
